Educational visits for the 2025 season have ended at El Potrero Reserve

Between September and November, El Potrero Reserve welcomed 17 educational institutions, which participated in environmental education workshops with 658 students of different levels. During the tours, students had the opportunity to discover, explore, and connect with nature through activities designed to bring them closer to the local fauna, native forests, and ecological processes that characterize this territory.

The educational visits are part of the Reserve’s commitment to outreach, education, and environmental stewardship, consolidating its role as a space for learning, inspiration, and encountering regional biodiversity.

From the Reserve team’s perspective, the outcome of this season is overwhelmingly positive. Each group that visits us renews our daily motivation for conservation and reaffirms the importance of creating experiences that spark curiosity, wonder, and an emotional connection with nature, especially in younger generations.

We would like to thank all the institutions, teachers, and students who took part in this edition, as well as the volunteers from the Environmental Education Program of the Municipality of Gualeguaychú, whose support was fundamental to the development of the initiative.

El Potrero Reserve will reopen its doors to new school groups next year, with the aim of continuing to sow environmental awareness and meaningful experiences that will last over time.
