We participate in FOCO: a space for building alliances for conservation

On Tuesday, November 18, we participated in FOCO (Forum of Conservation Organizations), a meeting organized by Bayka that brought together NGOs, academics, public and private reserves, companies, and actors committed to environmental protection.

The event included two panels of experts.
The first, coordinated by Matías Romano, Director of Bayka, featured Ladislao Foldesi, Coordinator of El Potrero Reserve, along with Francisco González Taboas, Director of Institutional Coordination at Aves Argentinas. They discussed the importance of interaction between the public and private sectors and civil society organizations to generate synergies and advance conservation projects.

In the afternoon, a group work dynamic was developed, with role-playing based on conservation cases from different regions of the country. This was designed to explore creative solutions and build collective ideas from diverse perspectives.

From El Potrero, we would like to express our gratitude for the invitation and celebrate these spaces that allow us to meet, share experiences, and strengthen the network of those who work for nature.

We believe that the path to conservation is built by many, and meetings such as FOCO are an example of that possible future.
